Cardi B drops new single "Be careful"
Cardi B. is back with a new single off of her debut album Invasion of Privacy entitled "Be careful" and she's going on in on men trying to play with her heart. Letting them know be careful when it comes to her. The song plays homage to Lauryn Hill's "Ex-Factor." The Bronx native's lyrics had fans guessing if she was talking about her fiance' Offset, especially the chorus where she sings:
"The only man, baby, I adore
I gave you everything, what's mine is yours
I want you to live your life of course
But I hope you get what you dyin' for
Be careful with me, do you know what you doin'?
Whose feelings that you're hurtin' and bruisin'?You gon' gain the whole world
But is it worth the girl that you're losin'?Be careful with me
Yeah, it's not a threat, it's a warnin'
Be careful with me
Yeah, my heart is like a package with a fragile label on it
Be careful with me"
Cardi quickly took to the Offset's comment section on instagram to set the record straight about the song by commenting to a fan who thought it was about him:
" chill maa, I'm a woman, I rap about different things different feelings,Music is art nothing personal. Besides I don't think he will tell me to drop this record if it was personal sh*t. It's all love over here."
Cardi's debut album Invasion of Privacy drops April 6th.
