Comedian Charlie Murphy Dies at 57
Comedian, actor and Eddie Murphy's older brother Charlie Murphy, has died at 57 from Leukemia. The successful entertainer burst on to the scene and into our hearts during his days of performing skits on the "Chappelle Show" with Dave Chappelle.
Via TMZ, "Charlie also co-wrote some of Eddie Murphy's movies, like "Norbit" and "Vampire in Brooklyn." He co-starred in "Are We There Yet?," "The Boondocks" and "Black Jesus."He recently toured with Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley on "The Comedy Get Down."
Murphy also starred in "Norbit" with is brother Eddie, and "Meet The Blacks" with Mike Epps.
He leaves behind two children that he had with his wife who passed away from cervical cancer in 2009, along with the entire Murphy family, and a extensive career of bringing laughter to people around the world. Rest In Peace.
